Tile warranty
Floors of Glory stands behind its tile and natural stone work in Venice, Sarasota and across Sarasota County. Showers are warranted for 10 years, and floors, backsplashes and other tile work are warranted for 5 years — provided when ample extra material remains from the job.
10 years on showers, 5 years on floors and other tile work
- Showers — 10-year warranty. Custom showers, built to the tile.
- Floors, backsplashes and other tile work — 5-year warranty. Floors, backsplashes and other tile and natural stone installations by Floors of Glory.
That warranty is provided under one clear condition, explained next. If the condition is not met, there is no warranty.
The ample-extra-material condition
The warranty is provided only if you have ample extra material left over from the job.
Plainly: at the end of the job, ample extra material from that job must remain. If you do not have ample extra material left over, Floors of Glory does not provide a warranty on that work.
Please keep that extra material from your job if you want the warranty to apply.
Built to be warranted
Floors of Glory takes more time on preparation and layout, builds custom-size showers to the tile, and uses epoxy grout as standard, with epoxy miters where a corner should read as one solid piece. That preparation is the foundation the warranty stands on. The warranty terms on this page — the years, the ample-extra-material condition, and the conditions below — are the terms that apply.
Warranty conditions
Showers (10 years): no leaks in the shower from the interior of the shower.
This does not cover plumbing failure.
Floors (5 years): the warranty guarantees the craftsmanship of the tile installation. The tile installer is not responsible for any major failure in the substrate. A tile installation is only as good as the foundation under it. Small movement that results in hairline cracks is normal and is not considered major. Major changes to the substrate include cracks that exceed 1/8 inch, uneven sinking or lifting of the slab, or movement that transfers to the block wall.
The warranty is provided only when ample extra material remains from the job. If ample extra material does not remain, there is no warranty.
